OmegaPro and Samuel Eto’o

Lanky in nature but as swift as a cheetar, Samuel Eto’o is considered one of the greatest African footballers of all time.

Eto’o has participated in four World Cups and six Africa Cup of Nations. He is the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations, with 18 goals, and is Cameroon’s all-time leading scorer and third most capped player, with 56 goals in 118 caps. He won three consecutive African Player of the Year awards.

Eto’o led Barcelona to a historic season in 2009, when the club captured its first “treble” by winning the national first-division title, Spain’s major domestic cup (Copa del Rey), and the continental championship (Champions League). At the end of the season, Eto’o was transferred to Inter Milan. He helped Inter win the 2010 Champions League title, and he was the club’s leading scorer with 37 goals during the 2010–11 football season.

Eto’o is currently the President of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).

With open arms, we welcome Samuel Eto’o to the OmegaPro family.
